Caught a cat

First cat on a fly rod, caught it on KY Lake last week. I used a olive and brown bead head on a 4 wt. rod. Caught 2 of them in about 8 ft. of water over a mussel bed, It was a blast

Congrats! I caught a cat that size on a 4wt once. What a fight!

Congrats on your catch of the cats. On a 4wt all fish are fun to catch but a cat will put up a very good fight

I bet that was a blast. I have never been taught to use a fly rod but I have always wanted to learn. Maybe this year.
