reel to match up to this TFO PRO SPECIAL in 5 wt, decent line and backing as well:

Cabela's: TFO Pro Special Fly Rods

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Line: hard to go wrong with any Scientific Anglers or Rio line.

Reel: At the low end, Cabela's Prestige Plus. For a little more money, Ross, Redington, and Lamson also make good reels. Just pick one that fits your budget.

The TFO Pros are good rods. I have two myself.

I have worked in the flyfishing bus. for alot of years and do not reccomend the cheaper rod and real combos. What usually happens is they put the cheapest and or seconds together for this equipment. A good example is in the guides. Quite often they will start to crack the finish(chrome). It only takes a very minimal amount of inperfection to ruin a line. Then most will go get a good line for around $50.00 and in no time it is destroyed also. So you have well over $100.00 and still do not have a fishable rod. Spend a little more money from a reputable shop and save it on the reel which only stores the line for the fishing you will be doing. You can pay what you want for a line and replace it as needed. Not all combos are problems but I have seen many come in with problems that could have been avoided.
