Slabfest results ???

OK, don't everybody jump in at once !
So sorry I couldn't make it.
Something came over me last night when I went to bed, bad pain in my chest.
Wasn't low, was just under my throat, and hurt like h*ll. kept me up all night, took some pills, then woke up at 6:40am. Supposed to meet up with Doug at 7am, had to call em and cancel.
Been in bed all day, still got this pain, has eased off a bit, but, still keeping me from skipping rope.
Don't know what the heck it is. I know I been really smokin a lot lately, I think it finally caught up with me.
OK, so ain't nobody got nothin to say bout the fest ???
What'sa you matter ???????

Know how ya feel Danny, I only turned this thing on this evening to see what went on and how many were caught. What's the words fellers. Here I am all the way over here, and need yall for updates on how the fishin is. Pictures of fish, people stuffin their faces with corn fritters and fish sticks.....something. Help an ol redneck out here. Will check in tomorrow to see if there is any one on here that can give a report. Bet they all forgot to bring a camera, what do ya think Danny?
Will say that we got tired of unpackin and sat out on the balcony for a few. Wife jumps up, grabs a rod, puts some Charlie on a trebble hook and 18 min. later I netted a 19" 4.5 lb channel, so the fishin is still good over in this part of the world, just need to finish up with the unpacking so we can launch the boat and find the slabs.

Dusty How was your trip? Sure looked like you were heading into some real weather. We got in yesterday. Got hung up for awhile on R 10 west of Talahassee for road work and hit Dothan at 5PM and liked to never got thru. Never hit rain till back in IL. Looked like the slabfest had some good fish. I hope to get out later in the week, like you I'm still unpacking.

We hit some horrible stuff. Had to slow to 30 on I-10, everything, and I mean clouds, air, rain, road....everything turned green. Have been there before and started looking for a bridge to get under, but did not find one. Hail only got to just over pea size, but will make you have to pass some gas to let the seat go once we stopped again. Will talk to ya later and fill ya in on the rest. These fellers don't want to hear all this, 'cept the part where it was raining so hard 3 pound bass was falling out of the sky and the trucks were making them look like pancakes.
