Pulled the boat out of the water. Now got a FULL day of cleaning on it to get the stain (brown) off of it. Then will put the cover on and have it ready to head back to the home state next thrusday. All ready got the bearings ready, even moved the axle up 8" to get the tounge weight right (never been done before). Found out, without the boat, tounge weight of the trailer was just over 200LBS. Now got it down to about 80. With the boat on, I could not pick it up, now can with a bit of huunnmmmppphhh. With the boat on now have about 115 of tounge weight, which is plenty I think. If you think different, let me know. Just got tired of a short trailer jack and uneven ground that made me keep moving boat around to unhook it. Now, at least, I can pick it up off the hitch and set it down....even though it is still heavier than I want to pick up every day.
