    Default Lake Washington Help

Hope I get a quick response. Am visiting near Melbourne at Patrick AFB. Can rent a boat tomorrow 3/31/09 and plan to fish Lake Washington. I only have the one day. Problem is I can't find anyone with minnows. Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

Well not sure I can help ya b/c I dont even know where Lake Washington is but I would love to hear more about it and esp. where it is. If your close to JAcksonville there are several shops there that sell them. I was in the Gander Mountain by the airport yesterday and they have a live bait shop. Also you can go to Walmart and buy some in the jar that Gulp puts out. They're dead but they are nice to have as a back up or if you cant find them live. I keep a jug in both mine and my dads boat for when we run out and they do better than none at all. Best of luck to you
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

I live in Melbourne and work at Patrick AFB. Capt Mullets Bait Shop on US1 just south of Aurora Road usually has minnows. If you will be here on Friday give me a call at 494-3443 (in the Afternoon as I am conducting WAPS Testing in the morning) and and I may be able to put you on a Crappie or two on the Stick Marsh (wind permitting). Not many places to bank fish Lake Washington that I an aware of.

    Default crappie

Hey Glenn, I have been reading this page for a long time. And i can see you like the Stick Marsh alot . Have you been doing good there? I fished it with Jim Porter and have talked with him a couple of times. If you ever have a open seat on the boat and need a fishin partner let me know. I would love to fish the marsh again. Last time i went i took my 12 year old daughter and we made Florida Fishing Weekly front cover, TORE EM UP! I have no boat so when I read the reports of most of you guys on here it gets me all fired up.
Anyway it's nice to see somebody is catchen em! Have pole will travel.
