    Default dilemma ????

CHUNKY Drove over to Lake Monroe Park and talked to the attendant. They have one gazebo left for the 28th of March. It is about 10 feet square and holds two picnic tables - it has running water, but no electric.
It is very close to two small restrooms. There is not much space, but it would probably do. It will cost $16 for the day and I have to pay that be Thursday if we want it.
Today is Wedensday!!! do we want to schedule the gazabo????
    We need a quick answer.
    Just reply to this thread.

    Default Lake Monroe Park

It looks like the voting is going towards a slabfest on April 4th - I'll go over to the park tomorrow and see what is available on that date. I should be back by 4:00pm.

    Default Lake Monroe Park

Launched at Lake Monroe Park this morning and went out into the lake for a little (just past the bridge). Caught 2 crappie there and 1 catfish. Wind came up so went up the river - wind wasn't any better there, but caught 13 crappie - biggest 1 lb 10 oz and threw 3 little ones back. We just trolled jigs - no minnows.
I didn't pay for the gazebo reservation for March 28th. If we go to the Park on whichever date, the manager said we could probably get one of the odd tables that a placed around the area - they are first come/no cost and water is somewhat nearby from standpipes scattered around or by the central restrooms.
One other note he told me today is that the website says sunrise to sunset, however the gates open at 7.00 am.
There is a park/boat launch across the river on the Seminole County side which is open all the time - Lake Monroe Wayside Park Map Location - Guide to County Services - Seminole County Government - Florida
There is 2 pavillions there on a first come basis; however, no water, facilities, etc.
Other option is Sanford Marina and Senior Center for cooking, etc.

I can bring a water hose or two with a spray nozzle to get the water closer to where we need it.
