    I was over there today BANK fishin and seen about 30 boats up and down the river...I was told they are getting a few good ones in the mouth of the river..I didnt get squat..Cked Nubbins slough and Taylor creek also.Saw a few fishin but no one catchin..Sooner or Later....

    The fishing around here as been slower than slow on the north end. Been on the river and if you get 2 good ones you are doing good. When you are out, you do not mark many on the fish locator. Been here all winter and just has not inprove. Hope it does soon.

    It's not as dismal as many are saying. I got home a week ago, was there for a month. The last ten days was good with several limits on jigs, don't minnow fish. First three weeks were terrible. Jigged in the cattails w/ hyacinth. Chartreuse and Yellow jigs. My retired buddies are still catching their limits.

    Just curious but is the rim canal any good for crappie? I have caught everything else in there in years past but never caught any crappie.

    We used to tear em up in the rim ditch back when the pines were still there.
