    Went to Crescent for the first time today and kept 22. Probably caught 75 or more.

    Dude, they are biting all over the lake in just about all depths of water. That was my first time fishing the lake yesterday, and I caught that many. I can only imagine what the locals did! I started in 12 1/2 foot of water and caught a bunch of little ones. Then, I moved to 11 1/2 foot of water and found the big females. I was fishing with a jig, variety of colors, tipped with a minnow and a number 5 split shot. I was trolling at .9 mph with about 14 foot of line out. I also saw some people fishing boat docks. I think they're there as well. Plan on going back in the morning and doing both. Hope that helps.

    Appreciate the invite Shane, is quite a trip for me, but, not out of the question for sure.
    Got to get all these honey-do's done today, got to work night shift tonight, etc, etc, etc.........
