Default Best time to eat ???

Lets hear what time do you want to eat??
Will need to know, so that some can get off the water to setup and prepare the main portion of the meal.
Personally, I eat my main meal at 11:00 AM. I know this is EARLY for most, but I am open for a later meal time. I will bring with me some snacks to tide me over,:rolleyes:
so LETS HEAR your best time.

Flycatcher, 309 and all other fisherman, if we get launched and on the water by 7:30 am, we can do a blast off of all boats at 8:00 am. Fish until 12:00 noon and make weigh-in @ 12:30 pm. If the non-fishing folks have every thing ready to start cooking, we can be eating by 1:30 pm.
I agree with 309, that we need to fish about 4hrs.

Will second that too. Since it will take me a while to get on the road over there. Have decided to help set up for the cooking. Are we short on anything that needs to be brought?? If so, let me know.

    Chucker:
I have not fished at Lake Monroe before and not been to the boat launch.
I will leave it up to you to select an area.
We will need maybe three or four tables, to be able to spread out the eats, and have room for everyone to sit down to eat and socialize.
No one has said that they were going to bring FILET KNIVES. I don't expect that they would be just put out for anyone to use, but we will need to have some to prepair the filets to cook.

Chucker said that he will bring 5 lbs. corn meal for the filets. I don't think that we will need that much, what are your thoughts????
Do we need any seasonings to go into the corn meal???
Chucker also will bring french fries. Will we be able to cook them in the frier, or will this cause a problem.

Seeing that this is going to be our first get-together, there will be a few things that might get missed. Will know better for the next one.

centerdriver = What kind of fish fryers (more than one) do you have. Propane burner type or are you going to need electric.
If the french fries are a problem, as for as the cooking, we can have chips or something that don't need cooking.

Flycatcher = I am going to checkout the city park that is there on the Riverwalk near the dock. I will also check with city as to any requirements that might be in play for a function like this (ie boat parking, cooking in park and that sort of stuff). I will let you know the details tonight after I check.

If any one thinks of anything that we are missing, please let me know. I will help as much as I can. I live here, so it is easy for me.

Flycatcher = Do you have a good head count for the lunch? The last I heard was 13-15, but that may have changed.
