Several boat launches. Closest one to Clermont I think is HICKORY POINT. Located just across the bridge on Highway 19 north of Howey-In the-Hills.
HICKORY POINT has a gate which is open at about 8:00 AM, if you want to access the boat launch before, it will take $2.00 to open the gate.
Bait ---About one mile further up the road on the left is BANANA COVE boat storage, it is at the first stop light after crossing the bridge.
Another launch is on Highway 441 going into Leesburg which launches into EUSTIS LAKE.
To get to the 441 launch area, continue up highway 19, beyond Hickory Point, I think the 5th stoplight, take a slight left next light another slight left and the launch is on the right approx 1/2 mile on 441. Bait can be had at either of two tackle stores in the opposite direction on 441. Both are located on the left side of the 441. Harris Chain Bait & Tackle 384 W Burleigh Blvd, Sandy's Bait and Tackle 325 E Burleigh Blvd. The tackle stores are less than one mile from the intersection of 19 and 441.
I hope that I have not confused you on directions.
