Thread: Any validity to this report?

Try LAKE JESUP and LAKE MONROE for crappie. Drift open waters and near Bird Island on Jesup. Fish near the power plant on Monroe. Daily limits are possible in both locations. Minnows, jigs and spinner baits are all effective lures.

Has anyone had limits on either of these lakes?

Hi the power plant on monroe was the deadest part of the lake today 12/4/08.a couple boats I tryed there not one fish,but they were biting in other parts of the lake

Does anyone down there troll the old barge channel across the lake to the power station. It used to be the only place to fish.
