Any members from this area.Going to be down for Christmas and usually take the grandkids out fishing.The parents don't fish but we do,so we always try to take them out.
We like Trafford lake for ease of access,and the kids always catch catfish.
Don't want your honey-holes,just a few new spots along a canal or pond that they can catch something(gotta keep them from getting bored)and is legal and safe.

I think the grandkids look foward to fishing with us as much as Christmas.
