Well, we made it there but was so windy couldn't go out in the lake without being beat to death. Decided to troll along in the river, and, was a pleasent day but only got seven, but, they were pretty fair size.
We ain't complaining, had a good day for being so windy.

Didn't think the wind was that bad today - at least not at the house. Two weeks ago we fished through the wind and the bite seemed to pick up a little while we were getting beat up. Anyway, the water level is still up a little so the river looks like it was nice.
Going out on Tuesday so hope the weather changes a little.

My brother went Sunday, and didn't do well. I had to fish the pompano and did good...

Don, I thought we coulda done well out on the lake, the fellow I was with didn't feel like doin it, I got a 17ft flats boat and it does ride low in the water, but I felt it woulda done ok, however we woulda got a little wet I'm sure, it was fairly rough for my little boat. To tell ya, we did troll from the river mouth into the lake edge and back, and it was exciting LOL.

where is your other half? TJJ?????

Good job on the pompano, sorry bout not making it to Lil John's thing, had this fishing trip already in the works, etc.
