Default Golf ball Retriever Retro Fitted With Cutter?

Anyone use a golf ball retriever with a blade attached to the end to cut lilly pads, pencil weeds to free jigs that get hung up? Looking for ideas. Pictures.

I’ve been using one for a while. One of the best things I’ve done.
Use a paring knife blade and round the tip so it’s safer.
Hardest part was securing it at the proper angle to cut right.
I’ll take a picture when I get time.

Thank you for sharing this. I had in mind a hawk billed knife blade attached someway or another.

As long as it’s on an angle back towards the handle, it’ll cut when you pull it back. Doesn’t need to be overly sharp either. Don’t forget to grind the tip down.
I put a cut with a hacksaw on the end wide enough for the blade to fit into (this helps position it). Drill the hole for a bolt with a locknut to secure to the pole( the paring blade already had a hole in it). The screw at the back is to help keep it at the angle.

I brought a 10ft piece of 1/2" emt conduit with a 90 on the end one year, for digging holes, I guess if I had a blade on the end it might of worked better! duh
