modus operandi for my solo recon for a pre-planned trip this weekend with a longtime fellow member/friend. Lake Woodruff/flyrod/ultalight spinning was the intent. Plan A(accepted invitation) -Plan B(recon) -Plan C(fulfillment of Plan A) But that's quite OK...every month has a Full Moon phase! when we will make it happen! Did manage 14 bluegills, 1 warmouth before the skies "noisily" darkened, bringing home just 5 that met my standards. Although our trip was slated to be artificials-only(spinning/fly), I bumped up my recon time/odds by investing in 1/2 tube of crickets. 75% were easily fooled with the real stuff below a bobber. Still fun though, one cast/rod @a time. Biggest(9") WAS fooled with a white sponge-spider's perfect soft landing.Name: 20220608_084903.jpg
