Dude, I bet you was whooped when you got back home. 3 hours there, swimming, then three hours home. That is a long day.
So let me guess….. someone else cleaned the scallops.
up2, I'm not a tide guy, but at some point we supposably had a slack tide at high tide, or something like that.
And yep, Bob D took 3 hours to clean'em he says.
Hard to beat a fresh seafood supper. Looks like the scalloping adventure was a real success.

The rationale is this= typically Low-tide phase is less arduous than high-tide because of the depth. Let's say the scallops are in 4-5 fow @ LT[no need to tread water], now, conversely same area @HT is 6- 8 fow you HAVE to tread water before you dive down to pick em up! Strategy is to pick your time of day @ 2-3 hrs. prior to low tide(it changes roughly about 1 hour later each day.) Strangely though, some folks are extremely buoyant, making it easy-peasy to stay afloat, but needing to wear weighted belts to submerge.[emoji848]Quote:
