Well put Tim, 1 st pic looks pretty choppy, but the last pic where you found some calmer water shows the rays from a place beyond our imagination= great pic.....as for the ducks, it's ironic that after going over the Max Brewer bridge & start to enter the Merritt Island Refuge, their sign has a emblem of a duck flying, welcoming you to the Refuge, the last 2 months those duck hunters will line up @ dark the night before-midnight to get a spot for sunrise, just crazy & I don't know how the system works for entry, but always @ least 15 boats in line waiting.....

Thanks everyone. Jeff, I heard a bunch of shotguns going off. They all seemed to be up against the mangroves and these ducks I speak of were in big rafts out in the open water. They’re some of Gods best work, their beauty is fantastic and they always look pristine clean. Quite a feat considering the stuff they spend their life in. And the only way I found calm water was by getting in the Lee of a mangrove shoreline. Pretty sporty for my little Jon.
Redge, I always tell everyone that I’m a little outside the box. Slab said that wasn’t so, until he spent time around me. Now he agrees too. Like many of us, no matter how many times I see things outdoors or catch a fish, I still get excited. That five year old you speak of, I think his younger brother resides in me.
It is said that what you do on New Years Day is what you’ll do the most of for that year. I hope that’s true and I hope everyone enjoys and prospers this new year.
