layering up w/hoodie, wool socks etc...yep, even in FLORIDA!!
Within the 1st 10 casts, I logged into an inshore slam = Snook, Flounder, Redfish. Although none were legal-sized, an unexpected scenario was looming in the "wings".
The water temp had dropped 11 degrees from 72 last week(61) and tightened up the fish a bit(feed/schools), until you found the Chompers!
Nice assorted variety was brought to net, including one of my fav eaters...11" Sea bass. Two largest trout taped in @23" & 19"(BOTH keepers!)
Kept one of two keeper Reds(19 & 22")
for a half-shell cook-up. Day got comfortable when the Sun made it's stingy appearance, but the hefty NW Wind did not dwindle much. Plenty of exposed humps w/low negative tide again, so I wasn't in any hurry to end the day. Only two Crab Pots were soaking for two days, but managed only 12 Blue Crabs.
