Thread: Big fish day

Had a great day on the water. The weather was beautiful with low winds. Fish bit good, not great but good enough to catch a limit. Had 4 or 5 over 2lbs. Didn't have my first mate to take good pictures but I managed. All fish caught on jigs tiped with minnows at 4' to 6' down. Back at it again tomorrow.
Said hello to tadolishes and his dad.Followed this boat around all day, saw him use the net several times.

Did you see him catchin' any EELS!!? I was told by an unnamed source @Crappiefest that he overheard Tater quietly whisper that they are Second to NONE!!

Congratulations on a fine day!

These were our biggest of the day, 14 1/2" and 15 1/4" . beautiful weather, we had a slow start looking around for em, by the time we got to a better area we had to pack it in so I could get to a job in the afternoon. Had 10 keepers when we left at 10:45
