Uncovered slips there didn’t have power. They previous slips burned up due to a boat fire. Those slips are close to sidewalk. I actually bring a wagon the kind from Home Depot with heavy tires that way you can get your stuff back and forth
I used to unload boat every night at okeechobee and put prop load on that was like an old steering wheel club along with A tongue lock
Prior to this trip I spent hours loading the boat up. Gonna come up with a new system for future trips
I try to avoid places that don’t let you keep boat at the campsite for this reason

Hate to hear this, but thanks for the heads up. My folks just rolled into Astor last night. Their 22nd year I think of going there for the winter and they and myself have been very lucky so far.
