That’s the beginnings of the going home ritual. Until you walk and bodily functions return you don’t go anywhere. They had me walking the day after my low back surgery. Wasnt fun but I got through it and it gave me something to do. Good to hear these good reports Andy, my prayers will continue.

Andy is really wanting to get out of there. They might move him out of ICU tonight or tomorrow. Not sure yet when he'll be home. I'll keep you updated. Hope you had a good day.

Well he didnt get to go home. Spiked a fever last night and got him pumping full of antibiotics. Hopefully nothing major and can get it took care of quickly.

Please continue prayers for Andy, no Doctor by any means, but know enough w/what the Lord put between my ears that this type of serious surgery is very sensitive to infection, like Mike said, hope this temperature rise is only a hiccup.

He is fighting off pneumonia which has put off his homecoming. He has moved to own room and was disconnected from everything prior to getting this. Hopefully they caught it early and wont be a drawn out battle.

Haven’t finished completely with my own fight with that, still chasing off the weakness and occasional cough. Having done this before I’m versed in the procedure and it’s following past experience. I’m hoping that they got it early too and his strength is up enough to kick butt. I’m praying for you Andy, do the best you can and hurry back to us. God Bless Brother.
