Hello all, it's been quite awhile since I lasted posted. I moved from Georgia to Florida and have been doing mainly saltwater fishing since.

I'd really like to catch some Crappie from Lake Tarpon in the Tampa Area. I would be fishing from my pedal kayak and have a very basic depth finder. My primary means of catching crappie in Georgia on Lake Sinclair was shooting jigs under docks when the weather started getting cooler.

Would a similar strategy work right now on Lake Tarpon? Any advice or general areas to find the fish right now would be super helpful.
