Well it's been a little time in the making, but final convinced Danny to do some speck fishing. We got on the water at 8am, & it looked bleak to start with water like glass & (2) fish to show for till about 11am then the wind picked up to bout 7-8 mph & we got donkey mule kicked into a frenzy of rods going off, with a unusual pattern of "against the wind" long-ling that proved challenging to keep the line tangles to a minimum, but hey we were catching fish. Danny took no time at all to shake off any rust & I believe we only lost 1 fish by net & 1 fish to broken line, never seen it, but think it was a large cat. We had 1 other kitty landed & Danny took 20 specks home. We both were able to take in surroundings & be thankful for the day that was provided, can't do it soon enough again Danny, thanks for the company....
