Thread: What's Go'n On...

Was 2nd in the parking lot at 6:30 am, but when returning around 11-ish, the lot was full w/overflow parking in the grass....seen a boat go by every now & then headed up the river, however, had the lake to myself, seen no signs of a bass tourney as well .....Oh well that was the 1st of strange events to happen Saturday's 90 degree morning, also had a plane fly over w/Geico banner (in a rural area), then later a 15 minute air show from a rogue/solo fighter jet ( pic is hard to make out)....anyways the June fresh water bite has been much better than the Salt, which is usually a reversal for the Summer, no complaints here, ended up keeping a dozen & threw back another 17 that didn't make the 11" mark, acid rain seen the most action long-line trolling & even had tandem jigs get smacked simultaneously, boy did these 2 fish want to get away from each other LOL...Continuing the tread last Friday enjoyed fishing w/a recently RETIRED single pole master AKA Andy/Crappieday & he schooled me on my own waters trolling ( His tally in pic of pre-filleted table w/white bowl), was glad the trip was worth it for him & as always the catch-up conversation..... Overall have enjoyed the work week's end to get away from the virus & pre-election desperation hysteria distractions, so go Lookn' & Hookn' when you can cause it's good for Ya!!
