little BS(beetle spin) = Breakfast of Champions! Early start for a Florida summer-heat(92*) half-day(finished by 1030) fishing trip with 5 1/2' single-pole casting beetle spins on 4 lb mono. Second cast fooled the biggest crappie (13 1/2") of the morning while working Eel/hydrilla grass edges & pockets in 6 fow. Total of 6 crappie, 8 gills, 3 lm, 1 bullhead was today's tally along with a 4 lb. bowfin that put up quite the tug-o-war on skinny tackle! That was his LAST rodeo, if you know what I mean Water temperature now is hanging steady @ 87*. Overall, it was another great day of the "fix"...
