Everybody, I think, hates a wedgie! In particular, I have been on a mission(see other post), to totally eradicate the Beetle-spin harness/elbow(almost like tennis elbow) line-wedgie! Normal factory elbow is heated then dipped in powder paint(i like chartreuse)
. Also heat the cupped(underside) blade and partially dust on pp.
Toaster-oven baked for 12 mins. @350 gives rock hard results. This technique yields two benefits: anti-wedging, blade color/flash uniqueness. My Lab, Raven, absolutely LOVES it when I head to the pool w/rod & lure for water testing! =
