    Default Best of both Worlds

Was able to go to the inter coastal waters last weekend & Jesup this weekend.....Tons of fingerling mullet running in the IRL, managed a trout limit (2) in my zone (16" & 20") 1 on D0A paddle tail & the other drifting shrimp, ton of cat's, & (4) Ray's, 1 pic in water had a 4 ft diameter, took 45 minutes til released at boat, thought it was a nice Red as it made 1st 2 runs, then dug-in, don't quite have the courage yet to try 1 at the dinner table .....Then there was Jesup, just amazed at how well it is doing this late in the season, as it's water tends to heat up quicker than most central Florida lakes, threw back as many as kept 12" to 14"...tight lines all....Name: 1389570113.jpg

Thank goodness you are able to keep enough specks for a meal. Can only keep two trout!!!!! you got to be kidding me. Well it looks like you had some fun anyway.

did you have any trouble getting in Jessup? Last time I was there at Sanford ave. ramp the water was down so low
almost had to push pole it into the lake.
