Yes, I launched at Sanford Ave. too....have a flats skiff, but had to trim motor a little to make it out...I'd say the water is 2ft below normal for this time of year, but that being said, I can't remember the bite so "hot" for specks in May at Jesup, been trolling 3-4ft of water & the size of specks has been the best in yrs, so if you can go skinny, it's worth it!! Don't get frustrated if it takes time to find them also, because there in packs, have had many times, 3 poles went down at once....Quote:
