wow this is a busy thread my eyes are crossing---striped fish everything going on
Catch, clean, cook... oh and eat. nice day!
Good video guys. My hats off to you for some good footage of a good trip. May not have been a barnburner but y’all had a good time.
I suspect that you were using Crappie carcasses for crab bait. My extensive crabbing experience rate any non-oily, freshwater fish as very low productivity. Better alternatives would be: mullet, shad, ladyfish, trout, reds, lizardfish etc. ie- fresh, bloody, oily carcasses are best. Even store bought chicken legs/thighs are decent enough to substitute. Just so you know, starting 2020, all recreational crabbers need to register with FWC (free) to obtain an assigned number ID.

I was using both crappie carcasses and sheepshead, just what I had on hand. I am registered with the FWC as a recreational crabber. You actually get a registration number for each of your 5 allowed crap traps that has to be displayed along with your name/address on each trap. Thanks for the tips!
Last video from this trip....I promise! :fingerdance
