It will be Becky and me. Becky said she would make some kind of potato thing and a dessert.
Steve and Slamminjack, look forward to seeing you there. So I think that’s four more and a potato dish. I get to work on the bathroom instead of fish this weekend. Yay.
Doug, great idea. As many plastics as I have I can probably scare up something myself.
This might motivate me to go through my dad's and I 's tackle accumulation of 50 years. Tim, I am glad I got my bathroom redone during the heat of the summer while the bite was slower.

Thanks to Jeff donating his half of the fish we caught yesterday I now have fish to make chowder with. Tim, I will be attending and will bring my fish chowder.
Search “chowder” and find my post from 2013. I couldn’t move it.
Thanks Andy, I’m looking forward to that. We’re gonna have a good time.
Kirk, it would be great to see you show up. Like to meet you and shake a hand.
Tim,
I have 26 fillets set aside for the slabfest.
Jim
Everyone else can enjoy the 50 +slabs I am bringing..lol. my wife and I are looking forward to some good eats and finally putting faces to names. BTW, the 50 count is as of now, I have several more nights of fishing before then.

Just so we don’t overthaw, let’s get a number of fillets together. Rob has 50, I have 26, Jim has 26. That’s 100 right there. Brian has some to offer and so does Doug. I don’t think we need more than 150, at 3 a piece that’s enough for 50 people. I believe right now we’re in the mid 30’s for attendance. My wife has offered to make some sweet potatoes, and I think I’m going to get somewhere between 5 and 10 pounds of fries, probably 5 with everything else that we have going. Anyone have an opinion on what I’ve just said, please let me know. Seems to be moving along nicely.
I have 2 bags from the other day, 13 fish = 2 fillets per fish = 26 fillets
So that'd bring your total to 128 or so
Tim, If anything is needed let me know.
Aw Aw Right I'm coming What with Linda's cake and Crappiedays chowder I would not miss it Put me down RiceRocket {tom Green} plus 1 and I will bring HushPuppies the Sweet corn type .Can't wait to see the old gang and new people too.
Tim- Looks like the fish filet supply is definitely "in stone" = change my offering to "cheesy grits" please. Thanks.
u2s
Joan and I will be there. Joan is going to make a lobster dip with some crackers.
You better bring a stick to keep folks like me off of it, that’s good stuff. Thanks.
About that, 2 trips yielded apx 70 filets, but I couldn't stay out of last night's catch so will be a few short of 70 :) , I have to make sure that they are good to eat...rofl Attachment 359146

Are you holding it at Monroe Park again? How are you doing for filets? do you need any help cooking?
BLSD
Yes it's at Monroe again. I am pretty sure he said filets are covered. I am bringing 2 fish cookers but I would be more comfortable only tending to 1. I am sure that Tim will confirm or deny : ) Sent from my SM-G900V using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Rob I would be more than happy to help with cooking of fish and hush puppies and can also bring my cooker so the cooking can be done quickly and the eating begin. I will just need a start time
I will never refuse help. If you think we need another fryer (I think there are 2 others being brought ) for a total of 4. But it won't hurt anything to bring it just in case. Not sure of a specific time yet. Tim and I are going to be there bout 9ish to get things together and make sure no one hijacks the pavilion. I am sure he will chime in later today...lol...I don't want to take over, especially since he has put so much work and effort into the whole thing. He deserves the credit for the hard work.

Thanks Rob. Been extra busy the last couple of days but you hit it spot on BLSD, any help is appreciated. We’ll have fries and puppies to cook also and feed time is about 1pm. That way folks can fish til about noon and get pulled and parked and start meeting folks and making friends. Dollar store for necessities this weekend before the turkey rush hits.
Ive never been to lake Monroe. Looking at my FL map book it shows several launch sites.
One on the north side on what appears to be Lakeshore Dr, and several others on the western end.
Coming up from down south getting to Sanford isn’t an issue, but getting to the right location could be.
Any chance the exact location could be nailed down?
Yobuck, It is an easy find! Monroe Park is your destination. Where will you be coming in from?
Thanks, having the actual name of the park is a big help rather than just Monroe.
I would be using I 95 to the Mims exit, then 46 west to Sanford, then 17/92 north to the park from what im seeing on my map.
Ive been to the airport numerous times, but never traveled beyond that to the lake.
Sorry for not catching the exact location not being mentioned. : ) Sent from my SM-G900V using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Sorry I haven’t nailed that down for everyone yet. I believe the name is Lake Monroe Park and it is on 17-92 on the north, or Volusia county side of the river. There is a ramp on the south side, which is Seminole County, but has no bathrooms or pavilion for us.
975 S Charles Richard Beall Blvd, Debary, FL, 32713
Had to look it up myself
Yobuck, if you’re coming across 46, turn right on 17-92 (north)and stay on it til you cross the river and it’s your first right.
Thanks Mike.
I'm new to the forum and i'm interested but I need to know the location before I commit......I live in Lakeland......
Wish I could make this, but Saturday is the opening of duck hunting season.
Catch em up guys!
