How do you rig your fish finder when spider rigging?

I'm thinking of rigging my Stump Knocker up for spider rigging. I'm curious about the fish finder. I heard of some who run a different fish finder up front with the transducer mounted on the trolling motor. How would that rigging work when dipping lily pads or thick water hyacinths?

In my opinion, when in the pads you really don't need fish finder (other than to check the depth). Anyway, yes, most will use a trolling motor mounted transducer and a unit up front.
