Rough, but very productive day monday 2/25/19. howling winds funneled from a cove through two points. over 20 m.p.h. 43 degrees at launch time. tough to keep the boat on track. fished from 7am to 10am when the wind got worse, i went in. got 15 crappie. 4 over 2 pounds. 10 best 19 pounds. purple body chartreuse tails and pink body chartreuse tails longlining in the mouth of our creek. staging and ready to spawn soon. going out again today. wind already up. where's the dial to turn it down?? at least it's warmer.
I hope you find that dial to turn it down!!! Or maybe it will just get tired of blowing and be fishable by Friday. Either way, we'll be there giving it our best shot between the rain showers. I'm syre we'll be trying the mouth of your creek. Not far from where we will be staying and lots of trash pile to fish in that area...Save us a few!!
20mph winds makes it hard to see all the stumps, i know i hit one on my last day there, luckly i was going slow. Luckly little damage but im changing the prop before spring.

I know what you mean. I bumped one last Saturday while I was on Talquin. Never saw it so it must have been just under the water. I noticed that some stumps had been moved around since the hurricane and saw things sticking up out of the water that I have never seen before. Gotta be careful for sure!!!
Yes especially on the mid-southern end of lake a lot of stuff moved during storm and rains that followed. They were pulling water 24/7 for a while. There are several new ones in the Ocklawaha area.
That's good to know. Watching the weather for Saturday
May try to run down there too.

My wife and I are headed over tomorrow. I just hope the weather isn’t to bad. We will be staying at Ingram’s.
