No, she was old and knew she was dying just before Christmas. We always go to the lake after Christmas for couple of weeks. Vet gave us meds to clam her and she died in my arms. Was better than having to put her down.

That's how my last dog went. I didn't want her to be afraid or die alone. I know the pain of loosing your best friend. That's the worst part of having a pet. The best part is everything else!

Losing ones soulmate dog is like losing a child. so sorry !
