What an end to 2018
We had a week that was most enjoyable. Left on the 26th early and pulled camper over to Oak Hill, got set up and helped my daughter and som in law set up, turned around and went and got the boat. Fished every day and had some great days on the water. Caught the first ribbon fish I ever caught and was amazed how sleek and shiny those critters are. Look like a sheet of prestige aluminum foil. Sylvia caught a pig of a black drum. We caught several more black drum, a pile of speckled trout, a truckload of sand trout, sheephead, mangroves, flounder, snook, and under slot redfish. Saw roseate spoonbils, ducks and all the other typical shorebirds. Sorry I didn't get a bunch more pics but was enjoying family time and good fishing. To cap it off we had Phantom, Ginny, Terry and Terry's son Brian come buy campground for a short BS session and spent new years eve at their place for fresh fish and shrimp dinner with all the fixins. Home this morning and everything cleaned up and put away in time to watch my tigers. Here is the random pics I have. Hope everyone has an epic 2019.
