I have taken a vow that I'm never putting my boat in salt water again, especially salt water around here...............

Ha! Forgot the cushion for my guest to sit on, then bout half way there I realized I'd forgotten the GPS/FF unit, but,
didn't need it, everything worked out. Was definitely cold in the morning, but later on turned out to be absolutely gorgeous .

Well ............ That's the way I feel (salt) anyway. Still might go shrimping ..............

Slab ---- I'm just sick of how filthy this river is around here, plus, I haven't caught anything, probably, the last five times I've gone out there.
All my old honey holes are nothing anymore. Last time I was out there we were motoring along and saw something small in the water ahead of us.
I was idling along watching it, it looked like a turtle head but it was moving side to side as it progressed ahead slowly. Well, we finally got up to it
and it was a redfish, probably around three ft long. It had it's nose and mouth out of the water trying to make his way. We were going to net him and
do a close inspection but just as we got to him he went under. We looked around = there were no boats in the area where he might've
been just caught and released. After long deliberation the consensus was = he was stressed from the filth in the water ! ! ! !
Funny thing though is that he was the only one, didn't see anymore like that ........ Anyway, I'm sick of this filthy river, I used to go out there
and it was so clear that I'd dive in and swim around, just enjoying it. I think those days are long gone ........ And these people wanting us to
donate money to fix it = Money will disappear and it'll still be messed up.......

Doug - Yeah, I had the camera with me but just didn't get around to diggin it out, had we got a big stringer full I'd of done so, etc, etc, etc.
