The best I can tell ya Stu is the water is LOW on this end. I've made the run in there several times & never had an issue like I did this past time.
Best I could find going into lake was 1ft3 & the sandbar seems to have shifted from my last track.
Jeff may have a better track & more detail on the conditions for that.
As far as the fish go, they're being caught - nothing 2lb plus for us so yes that 4lber is still waitin for ya !!
Yes, Bryan, the ditch has shifted a bit with last years hurricane. You must stay on-plane out of the river & when headed straight for the PVC/Cone marker hang a right around 15-20 yards before it & keep on a 2 o'clock track using the Cone as 12 o'clock reference for about 75 yards , then it's OK to cut back toward the lake. VERY important to keep on-plane....Stu, don't believe I had a 4 #er on, as much as I would wish, but had that distinct "HUMP" at the shoulders & eyes bigger than a nickle=I think you guys know what I'm talking about=hi adrenaline moment....
After today’s all day rain, I would bet access is just a little easier. Worked all day in the stuff. No fun.
