Got what little I had to do today done early so you know what we do when that happens. Dropped in and arrived at my fishing grounds at 10 til 12 and fished til just after 4. The app on my phone said it would be good about 1 or so for a couple of hours, and it was a good prediction. Started slow, wound up tight for a couple of hours with a fish on just about every cast, and slowed to a crawl as I got ready to go. A mixed bag, throwing the tiny stuff, with a couple of LMB flirting with a pound plus made the day real interesting. Lots of fish in the frozer so everyone got a pass. I had 3 STUD copper nose bluegill and a few Crappie that would have kept and made a good meal. I got the best part of them, had to wait for the drag to catch up before I could work on them. Temps in the low to mid 70’s and never turned on the bird so I don’t have a water temp. All totaled I know I had over 60 go through the boat, though I really think it was closer to 75. Some barely longer than my hand is wide. With work tomorrow I expect a couple of weeks of getting used to the grind and I don’t expect to get to go til Christmas unless I’m real lucky. No pics, manatee nibbling hiacynth, lots of lizards, and 15 or so turkeys flew from one bank to the other directly over the boat. A very pleasant day, sorry it had to end. Hope the retired folks pick up where I left off and have a stellar week. Til I hear from some of you......Skeet
