Thread: Rare Monday morning outing

Wanted to try some new water, with the morning free & Lord behold it worked out quite nicely....no monsters, just solid 11" to 13" fish hammering the jigs in the HEAT!! W/T 81F... Yes, no wind at all, occasional slight ripple is all that showed...caught little over 20 with 15 worthy of a photo shot before all released, 1 striper decided to test the lite tackle.....all-in-all a enjoyable morning not planned...all I'll say about the spot is an ole corn jar licker once told me..."come to this lake & they will be there"....turns out sound advise, he was right!!
