Winter time when the wind's blowin......crappie, about early march I tear the boat apart and set it up for cobia/dolphin, then change over to taking coworkers who arent afraid of a 14ft boat out for kingfish during the summer, and about late august when its just too hot to do anything i tear the boat apart and set it up for crappie again.
Thanks Mike. Do yall eat Swamp cabbage in LA? Never had any cooked with tomatoes and peppers. Always had it cooked with milk and bacon.
No sir, never heard of it till we moved here. Only saw palmetto bushes in Louisiana, no cabbage palms. I have only had it with tomatoes, onions, garlic, celery and a bunch of venison and pork.

I actually heard em down at Wachapreague, Chincoteague Don. We caught big boys(100 lbs. +) down @ Cape Charles back in the day on whole sea clams.

Yep whole clam and a crab also some times. I have seen small boats that were nearly taking on water as they had kept to many of those big fish. I have fished that bay from NAS Pax River to Naval Station Norfolk. Don
