With a new job started this last spring, don't know how things will pan out for time off, but my area waterways can't catch a break since Irma with instability, so looks like I will be traveling to find specks again this year....why not add Talquin to the list.....

I talked with Sarah at Ingram's Marina this afternoon. There are cabins available for the Get Together the week of Nov 7-12. She has 1 Big Cabin that has 4 BR and 2 Bath that will sleep 10 people if a group wants to get together and rent it. There is also a 3 BR 1 Bath 6 people. November is usually a busy month at Talquin so if you know that you will be attending, give her a call and make your reservations...850-627-2241. She also told me that there is a restaurant just down the road, Country Boys, can work out a fish fry for us. We catch and clean the fish and take the fish to them. They will add French Fries, Hush Puppies and Cole Slaw with a drink for $5.00/person.

Just talked with the folks at Ingram's Marina. There are only 5 cabins left for the weekend of November 10th. 3 cabins sleep 2 people and 2 cabins have 2 bedrooms. Ingram's Marina....850-627-2241.

I have talked to Sonja at Country Boys Restaurant and reserved the patio area for Friday evening, November 9th. If the fish are biting like I think they will be, Litewirehooker and I will supply the fish and Country Boys will do the cooking for us. Baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, french fries and a drink will be provided. All we have to do is show up, eat and leave. No cooking or cleaning up. The price will be $10 per person, this will include the meal and the tip for them. If anyone is interested, we can have a Fruit Jar tournament on Saturday. We'll try and get a head count as time gets closer. Right now it is looking like about 20-25.
