Phantom309 do you know if anyone still shrimps around the 520 bridge in the Banana river? My grandparents lived on Merritt island and I use to go down there and shrimp with my grandpa back in the 70's 80's and 90's. We use to do real good. I still have family down there and thought about giving it a try.

6mm ...... I hear on occasion of folks shrimping down that way, specifically Mather's bridge (Eau Gallie) and Melbourne way.
But never hear that they do real good, just a few ...
As to 520 at Banana river= can't say I have heard of anyone doing that particular spot = ever .... It might be a hidden gem ........

That's better than what I got in my freezer but we haven't been at all yet.

....48 shrimp per meal, whew thats putin some away - them buggers are hard to stop eatin once you get started
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Well, that'd be 48 between two people = 24 ea, and ya "GOT" to have a few left over for next day ......(if there are any left)
