Plane down, Lake Harney

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for a plane that crashed into a lake near the Volusia-Seminole county line.
Crews were searching in Lake Harney near Lake Harney Woods Boulevard and Morgan Alderman Road.

No other information was released.Deputies with Seminole and Volusia counties were involved with the search.

• The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Just a shame, especially for the victims families over the holidays, not that anyone's going out this morning, but news reports ramps closed til investigation complete....Harney's developing a unwanted trend, losing someone yearly for one reason or another....be safe out there

There is a flight school in Sanford that trains for the airlines, and I see the group of guys together all the time on the way home from work. Sad to think that it was some of them in the downed plane. Prayers for their families, they were on their way to a good life.

I know most of these guys. Their flight school fly's into our airport during the week. They train mostly China Students. Sad.

Strange = Mid-day news says they haven't located the plane or people yet, and, had an eye witness to the crash .......
