First trip to Rodman Reservoir

Any advice for fishing the reservoir? I know there are a ton of stumps in the area, but any other suggestions/things I should know? We're staying at the KOA on the south bank.

Had an old timer once tell me it was dynamite down stream the dam, never have made that trip, but a bucket list thing for sure....good luck!
