Default Sure wish I had some fishing tales to tell

Haven't been for a while with any success. I've got a few things going on that keep me busy, but I sure miss the fishing I enjoyed the last few months. I hope everyone is getting a little time to wet a line, and finding an interested party or two when you do. Things been kinda slow around here. I know some of you have gotten a little time out so give it up and help those of us out that don't get to go with a few tales to make us jealous. Thanks.....Skeet.

Just got my trolling motor back, ended up being a bad remote but replaced on Motorguides dime not mine. Hopefully finish bolting back on this week and on the water next weekend maybe.

It is raining so hard and long at my house and the water is getting so deep, that the fish are swimming by and I can see them from my kitchen window. 1.77 inches since noon and still coming, at 2:57 PM, total as of 3:15 PM 2.19 inches

I haven't been out for a couple of weeks now. The rain has been keeping me off the water. Hope to try it next week.

Hopefully all this rain puts the river back up high. Get some high water now it might flush all the junk out by September and have less floaters to troll around. Although I do have good luck pulling around the heavy lines of junk floating.

My trim solenoids for the down side went south a couple of weeks back. Found the parts on ebay and put em in today, good as new. I'm ready to go.

I have a total of 4 hours and one trip on my motorguide xi5 and it's at the shop.

Lost GPS and the prop motor won't come on, it turns back and forth just fine though.

Mine powered up and locked on to satellite but nothing else. Even suspected remote and changed batteries 2 times and still nothing. It is back on boat all bolted down and working properly, on trailer anyway. Found a youtube video yesterday on the settings for my Hook7 and got that dialed in correctly now as well. Need to get back on water and catch me some feesh now

I do miss your 'fishing tales' Skeet. Better days are ahead. I haven't been out since May. Gonna try soon!
