I had to read that twice, must need new glasses. I thought it said "Not enough attitude". I believe we have plenty of that 'round these here parts.
I have heard of a few folks that have trolled a smaller body crank and done some good. The ones I did well with on the whites in TN with hardly turn a fish here. Put your mind to it, it can be done.

My xi5 just came in for my mini toon, and it's almost at 100% ready, just a few minor things left and some prop testing. Really looking forward to getting back on the water after em.
I have some 1/64 hand ties, coming from Texas. They don't stand a chance!

Cranks will work this time of year - I usually start them around late July into September
Do not use Balsa Cranks - all lipless - 1 1/2 - 2 / 25 work best for me. Usually only run about 6 max
Once you start pulling - you cannot stop - (lip less will sink)
