use long pole and jig down slowly till you find where they are hanging, every opening on the tree or in pads. start outside first then move in, it's pretty simple and basic and productive. use weedless jigs if you have them, CB sliders are great for this fished weedless. also move away from limbs occasionally as fish could be suspended near cover but not in it.
