    Default Oak Hill 2/11/17

Tide was already over half gone by time it was dark enough to see to dip shrimp. Had a nice steady run with some xl/jumbos in the mix. About 2 dozen of them in the 2 gallons we got by end of tide swing at 8:30. Lots of boats lined up before dark and had a beautiful full moon to light the water. Had a great time and Sylvia got a much needed escape from the house.Name: FB_IMG_1486871892384.jpg

Looks like you got some nice ones, it's a shame the tide didn't run a little bit longer.

It would have been nice to have caught a full tide swing for sure. Seeing posts on fb that people got limits on late tide change from 3am to daylight. But I like sleeping them hours.

That makes you feel like you went and did good. That will put some in the freezer if the kids don't find em. Sounds like a good time for the both of you.

Looks like it's about time to dust off my lights and shake out the nets. My kids love to catch dem skrimps and have been begging to go.
    Thanks for the report!

Looks like a great night Mike, weather was perfect. My buddy's boat is down & mine don't like the salt so we couldn't go.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
