    Default Garcias lake

Made the trek over to garcias today with a buddy to see if the specks were still in my hole from last year and they were a few there but still a little early as far as quality of fish goes! Indian river airboat club will be holding a tournament there in a month or so, so I decided to go check things out and boy did we flat out catch some fish single poling color didn't matter but the smaller 1/32 size jig deff seemed to produce more bites, all togther between specks, bass, bluegill and even a random Wild shinner we caught well over 100fish today and brought home 28 11-14.25"Name: IMG_2585.jpg

Looks like some good fish were caught, what an awesome day !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Actually, airboats are there in numbers every day. The large variety type which are used for taking tourist for rides.
Some days the trailer slots have lots of cars single parked and using up the whole space. Don't park your rig leaving enough
space behind, or you just might get blocked in as I was about a week ago. The canal in the photos might be off limits to them,
as ive not seen any down there. But I also haven't found that honey hole either. lol

The new large lake adjacent to Stick Marsh/Farm 13 is scheduled to be opened this year. It has already been stocked, and ramps will be part way in the same road to Stick marsh. Apparently they are now under construction.
