Hope you good folks don't mind an interloper from Alabama posting here.
My fishing partner and me are making a trip from Enterprise AL to Lake Seminole this weekend. We plan on putting in at River Road.
Can I purchase a Florida license at the launch or should I plan a stop at Walmart? The plan is to get there at sun up or shortly after.
We will fish the Florida side of the lake only given we won't GA licenses. Can you all point out some good spots to fish? We will be spider rigging unless tat doesn't work.
Appreciate your time and responses.

It's a very dangerous lake when the winds are high. I would reschedule!
We are gonna watch the forecast with the plan to go Monday morning. If the wind will cooperate, we will give it a shot.
Appreciate the responses - Wife and got legal yesterday for both FL an GA. Now just need God to bless us with good weather.
We will put in at Snead just off River Road
Lake Seminole is a shared fishing license with Georgia and Florida. Go on the Georgia forum and look up thunder he fishes Seminole. He will set you in the right direction . He seems to always posting good trips. God bless and good fishing. Be careful out there.
On Seminole you can fish with either a Ga, Florida, or Alabama liscense. I wouldn't buy the out of state just to fish there. You just obey length and creel limits of the state you put in at.
Crappie are biting very good on the creek for larger fish. Both rivers are producing numbers. I would pick the flint myself out of the two rivers. With the cold front coming in expect fish to go deep in structure off river ledges coming up to feed in the morning. Also with the lack of current up sensitivity on your graph to find a thermoclines in many areas including the creek.
