Red face an easy morning on the water

I got up in plenty of time to get to the ramp before first light. But I just couldn't bring my self to get out of bed. When I did start moving the sun was making its way up into the sky. I made it onto the water by 8 AM, I think some one call that bankers hours.

I think I got the last parking spot in the lot. As I headed out into the lake I could see boats spread out all over the lake. There did not seen to any one special spot this time. I flipped a coin and turned to the left. There were a few boats over in this area and it was close to where I was already at. Just a short run out.

I set the rods out and set back for my cup of coffee. There was almost no wind so I had to kick the trolling moor on. I wasn't long when a rod went off and I was able to put the first fish in the box. The fish seemed to be taking their time this morning also as the were taking their time hitting my lures. I had a lot of throw backs but that kept me busy. When its like this I start to play around with the rods and try new things. I think I might have found a new lure to play with.

I called it quits as the coffee ran out and it was getting close to lunch time. I did a quick check of the box and saw I had 2 or 3 meals in there and I was happy with that.

got to take home 7 nice size keepers.

another good day at the office !
